Memento Shelf

Create a beautiful display shelf to hold special mementos out of a frame and old CD box.

CD box
2 hinges
knob
drill
magnetic clasp
file
silicone glue

Steps:

1. Remove the frame backing and glass. Stain or paint the frame and CD box as desired and let dry.

2. Pre-drill holes for the hinges on the back edge of the frame and screw them in place.

3. Screw the metal magnetic clasp to the frame and add the knob for a handle.

4. File the edge of the CD box to create notches for the hinges and screw them in to attach the door.

5. Screw the other side of the magnetic clasp into the box.

6. Glue the glass pieces back into the frame openings.
