Armchair Caddie

Put hinged boards on a tray so that it rests over the arm of a chair to keep food, drinks and reading material handy.

scrap wood
wood tray with sides
4 hinges
paint or stain
screwdriver

Steps:

1. Paint or stain the tray as desired and let dry.

2. Cut two pieces of scrap wood for sides (they don't have to be the full length of the tray). Paint or stain as desired and let dry.

3. Attach the pieces to the bottom of the tray with hinges and fold them in when not in use.
